Rebalance Fit is about rebalancing your body back to correct alignment and promoting better health.

Having a balanced body means you can heal effectively, and function more efficiently – reducing risk of injury and allowing the body to repair & recover how it is designed to. A balance between strength and flexibility is so important, keeping a well maintained body is vital for injury prevention, health and ultimately your wellbeing.

Every body is unique; every person’s posture is a result of their daily patterns, lifestyle, behaviours and years of habits which form their postural alignment.

During our life certain muscles get either misused, overused or more often now disused. This creates muscle imbalances throughout the body, some muscles start to shorten and others weaken and “switch off”.

If the muscle imbalance is not rectified then mechanical irritation can occur within the joints; a wear and tear effect of the joint structure begins to happen. The resulting friction can lead to bursitis, tendinitis, muscle sprains or strains, degeneration of bone structure, irritation on nerves, a decreased flow of blood and much, much more. Managing postural alignment and muscle imbalances are the key to keeping a well maintained body.

Because everyone is so different with their lifestyles and habits, I make it a priority to assess each individual first through a screening process; I have over 9 years experience assessing movement patterns and correcting gait, postural alignment and palpation.

I have over 11 years experience developing strength and flexibility programs. From the client’s initial assessment results, I design a personalised rebalancing program to specifically meet individual client’s needs. This ranges from switching on any disused muscles, improving agonist and antagonist muscle relationships, improving postural strength, alignment and awareness. Regaining muscle balance, thus increasing functional movement, improving proprioception for balance and reaction, refining coordination, increasing muscle strength, power, agility and so much more.

The continual bad habits and lack of awareness in people really cause havoc on the body, it is so important to maintain your body so you can really enjoy life and make the most of it. Feel strong and be strong.
